Winchmatic Problems

I finaly got hold of someone at Winchmatic. I need to dismount everything and send it to Stockholm for them to troubleshoot the unit. They promissed it should not take them more then a week so lets see. I will try to send it up this weekend.

Its always something that do not work!

This year it’s the anchor in the back. It’s a winchmatic pc 102 that has given us problems from the start but now it seems like it’s broken. The problem seems to be that the supplier do not have any support outside Stockholm!

I have mailed them and called but no real answer.

My maintenance dock has also tried to contact them but get no support.

Its a world of warning if you live  on the west coast that Winchmatic seems not to have any support here.

the problem is that it 50% of the time just make a small movement when it should release the anchor and then look up completely. The unit need a complete manual release and reset . Something that is very messy and is difficult to do when u are stressed in a harbor.

If someone have any good ideas what it could be im all ears!

Klar för 2013 , nersegling med snöbyar!

En liten detalj som faktiskt lyfter hela båten är den för året lackade flagg stången. Ger ett helt annat intryck än när den var"natur"

Nu är hon klar för sommaren 2013. Nerseglingen från Henån till Göteborg var under omständigheterna perfekt, trotts 5 grader i luften och vad det visade sig vara snö!! byar inåt land. Denna vår har varit helkonstig och kall.
